At Sleep Warm UK we support rough sleepers, ensuring they can survive the street through the provision of sleeping bags, warm clothing and other life saving supplies.
The Sleep Warm UK was founded on the principle that everybody should have the ability to feel safe and succeed in life. Our passionate team are constantly involved in programs where we support individuals around the country, and in fundraising to help those less fortunate people.
Our history:
Founded as the Rocket Planet by Joshua Dennis, we begun undertaking a variety of humanitarian programs across the UK, from supporting rough sleepers with sleeping bags, to street survival kits and covid safety kits. With the addition of Harry Sotnick-Hommel to the team in 2021 we began supporting food banks as well, ensuring food banks in London have enough food to service their clients.
Now, six years are we have started, we have supplied over a thousand sleeping bags and over a hundred thousand items to food banks.
In March 2025 we changed our working to Sleep Warm UK, to better reflect the work we do.
How we work:
The Sleep Warm UK is divided into Regions, with each Region being headed by a Regional Supervisor, who manages the day to day operations. Within each Region we have teams of volunteers who run our programs, whether they are youth leadership or humanitarian work. The Director oversees all activates across organisation, and is supported by a council of Trustees.
We now have operatives in:
